Through Desert
Trying to figure out what I think about God during Lent 2009.

I dream of gardens in the desert sand
Doing much better today. My friend offered to share her yard with me to plant a garden together. Always dreamed of it.

Yet every distance is not near
She's gotta be strong to fight them
You may call me R.J., you may call me Ray
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I find it hard to tell you
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I don't shine if you don't shine
A real big heart and a father's grace
Go get me my pistol, babe
Looking for a pot of gold
Just a stranger on the bus
A buck forty, hydroplanin'
Don't let me drift too far
You can have all this world, just give me Jesus
I will let you down, I will make you hurt
Two paths
Dazed and confused
Eternity in their hearts?
Wheat and chaff
Homeward bound
Improbable peace
